The understated dress
On first sight, this dress doesn't look like all that. But on closer inspection, it's a winner. The shape of the dress itself is very current, tunic-y to the hips, then flaring out to the skirt, and the scoop neck is flattering. Worn to a casual barbeque, with cute sandals and maybe a little short-sleeve cardie for when the sun goes down, this is a very cute spring look.

The Trendy Swing Jacket
Ok, I am not into the current babydoll/empire/swing/trapeze shaped clothes. Why? Because when you are short and have big boobs and hips, those are the worst possible shapes. Anything that doesn't let my waist be seen just makes me look like a puffball, but I caved in because this jacket is belted, so it's ok. This is the same fabric as the skirt that refuses to be photographed well, the fabric looks a lot nicer in this shot.

The Essential Wrap Dress
Once again, I bought a ton of a fabric - this time, a pretty paisley print jersey, and I got the pink print and the lavender print. I chose this wrap dress because I know they are extremely flattering to voluptuous chicks like me. The cuffs were a little challenging and mom came to the rescue, and it looks gorgeous on.
